I know it’s been months since the last update but I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and had a great start to the New Year. For all the Aussies, I hope you guys enjoyed Australia Day, we did, with a barbecue!
Barbecue Asian style that is.
Nonetheless it was fun and so far the year’s been great to me.
Now, I didn’t buy any make-up related goodies until today, the last day of January, for over a month which is weird. I find myself struggling to not buy anything when I place a ban on myself but when I’m free to buy stuff, nothing appeals. Oh well.
So, I was in need of a new loose powder since the other one I had was expired and made my skin itch as a result. I had a few loose powders in mind, Illasmasqua and Laura Mercier to be precise, and even trekked to the Myer in the city to get my hands on them but when it came to, I didn’t buy any. Instead I went home empty handed and a little dejected.
My sister and I made an impromptu trip to Castle Towers to get the battery in her watch, and three of my mums’, replaced which lead me to Myer with the eventual purchase of concealer. I did need a new one since my tan decided to extend its stay with me. Blah, I’m over being tanned. My arms and legs are one colour and my tits and ass are a whole different story. I don’t actively tan, it’s just I’ve been out and the sun is…also…out.
Anyway here’s my loot!
So the powder was my first Chanel purchase (though, not first product, more on that later) in the barren Parramatta David Jones. I have yet to use it so a review will be in order after a sufficient amount of time, same with the MAC concealer.
I’ll be back, for sure!
